About Me

Hello World!

My name is Anand. I like to work at the intersection of mathematics, physics, and computing. Lately my interests in compilers and low-level performance optimization have brought me to Modular, where I work as a GPU performance engineer. I focus on optimizing GPU kernels in Mojo, and in my free time, I enjoy exploring ML compilers.

Previously, I helped develop a GPU-based fluid dynamics solver at Ansys and improved physics-based models using data at Geminus.

I’ve had the privilege of attending the University of Michigan (PhD in Aerospace Engineering) and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) (Masters’s and Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering), where I got to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the field.
